YELUTIDE: SOMOLU LG CHAIRMAN ‘DULLAR’ URGE RESIDENTS TO CELEBRATE MODERATELY

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu has enjoined Citizens to celebrate this year’s festive seasons with the best of their approaches.

 

In fulfillment of the main objectives of this yuletide celebration, the Chairman who is well known for his conviviality made this call to Somolu residents.

Adding that this year pandemic, as occurred around the world has taught us so many great lessons and made us stronger than required, especially on the aspect of decision makings and potent protocols.

 

In addition to his developmental achievements, the chairman reiterated his commitment to embark on more life-changing policies and advancing projects.

This he said would cut across all sectors pacified the citizens to join in curbing all forms of atrocious exploits toward the vulnerable in the society and help improve the security of the community.

 

While wishing the citizens a peaceful celebration, he called for the uncontrived exhibition of the fear of GOD and moral values in their dealings; and to be security conscious during their festive activities.

 

In line with the new Covid-19 guidelines stipulated by the Lagos State Government to swiftly lessen the effect of another sudden increase of the pandemic second wave.

 

He extended his appeal to Somolu citizens not to expose themselves to this deadly virus which is on the increase in other areas in the state.

As it is also paramount to ensure the safety of the citizens in all ramifications, which would further help to cushion the exposure admirably.
